2. Child participation and consent
- Explain each activity in age-appropriate language without pressure or promises of an outcome.
- Obtain parent/guardian consent or the organization’s approved basis, and seek the child’s assent where appropriate.
- A child may pause, skip, or ask for a trusted adult.
3. Prohibited practices
Results must not be used for punishment, labeling, automated diagnosis, or high-impact decisions without human review. Session links and reports must not be shared with unauthorized people.
4. Responding to a concern
- Listen calmly and do not promise absolute confidentiality.
- Record only necessary facts without diagnostic assumptions.
- Escalate promptly to the safeguarding lead under the organization’s procedure.
- For immediate danger, use local emergency or child-protection services; do not wait for a platform result.
5. Access and human review
Child data is restricted by role and organization, with significant events recorded in the audit trail. A qualified person must review follow-up signals and AI-assisted analysis before action.
6. Reporting and improvement
Organizations must maintain a clear route for reporting safety concerns or misuse and periodically review incidents, permissions, and staff training.
